taffypulller: In my anatomy & physiology II class we just got done with the endocrine system and the one thing I still can't believe is you'd die within a week if you had no adrenal glands/not enough adrenal hormone production. That's just amazing! So then if you get a kidney transplant, you not only have to have a match, but be sure the adrenal gland(s) will still work and secrete hormones. Incredible stuff.

Absolutely, I miss learning about anatomy. I am a massage therapist and took a few anatomy classes in school. I can’t wait to take continuing education courses now because learning about the body can continue for ever & ever. It is just so complex & amazing. My favorite subject by far <3
